FAMILY WEEKS AND WEEKENDS

Some weeks and weekends at Temple Basin are specifically reserved for family groups. They have proved extremely successful over the years. Coordinator Robb Macbeth describes the weekends below:

17 - 18 July, 28 - 29 August, 18 - 19 September

Bring the entire family up to the “Basin” for a weekend of uproarious family fun.  Enjoy the freedom of the slopes while your children are busy entertaining each other under the supervision of the friendly staff and the lone parent delegated to keep an eye on them.

Fathers – chuckle as you watch the mothers of your children panic as they observe their offspring hurtle wildly down the slopes in an apparently uncontrolled descent, only to see them conscientiously glide to a screeching halt just short of the towline. 

Mothers – enjoy cruising all the delights the field has to offer with a group of other mothers whilst gloating that the male parent has been left to baby-sit/wash/cook/clean as penance for previous chuckling. 

Kids, enjoy the range of on field and lodge based fun such as the igloo building, junior alpine Olympics and toboggan races, as well as tearing around with a bunch of your mates. 

Parents – enjoy soaking up the ambience, company, fine dining and witty repartee of the lodge whilst your knackered children sleep soundly upstairs.
 

FAMILY WEEKS

11 -17 July, 26 Sept - 3 Oct

School holiday weeks are great fun for all the family. They include six nights accommodation, 7 lift passes, all food and a lesson each day. Ski and snowboard rental is available on site. In the Lodge,lots of activities are organised during the day and during the evening
